Wow. Being back on DA feels so good. I would just like to give some shoutouts while I'm here.

Number 1:

BIG SHOUTOUT TO :iconmoonbeam13: who for some reasongave me a 3 month subscription. I have no idea why, but for some reason I have it! Went to check DA this morning and there it was! So thank you to moonbeam13

Number 2:

You know, you join DA to be inspired by other artists but also to have your art try and make it big out there. You want to become popular like all the other bigwig artists on the site. And when that doesnt happen, you can become discouraged. Thats part of the reason why I left for a year. I just couldnt deal with it. But there are two artists that inspire me big time.

They are :icondaremaker: and :iconxerkylereizem:

These two deviants have been with me since very early on in my DA career. They always leave constructive comments, and they are very supportive. I really do consider them friends. Id like to say that no matter what happens to you guys, keep trying and dont ever lose interest in art. The longer you do it the more you will improve!

And I would just like to feature some of their art here... Check them out!

Words Not Spoken by XerkyleReizem Dogs and Wolves: Ch1Chapter 1: Convergence
Clad in their dated armor of leather straps, cheap metal plates, and layers of animal hides, the swarthy men gazed over the horizon like beasts searching for prey. They were a rugged troupe of men, perhaps twenty in number, maybe more, maybe less: numbers were never odds to be calculated with them, though. They all knew themselves to be tough, able to run through the thick brush only to shrug off the thorns and bristles as though a mere nuisance; some had been known to wrestle boars to the death, just for the taste of bacon in the morning. They deemed themselves the region’s greatest band of mercenaries; though self-proclaimed, they readily defended their title with what seemed to be an honor among thugs. Needless to say, they were good at what they did and made sure every lowly scab knew.
Scratching his scruffy beard with his gloved hand, one of the mercenaries bore his teeth like a mange dog, only to squirt a fetid jet of spittle and tobacco from the gap b

Wow thanks a lot for the kind words! Yeah I too consider you a friend, and also a great friend. I know it is discouraging at times to see some people be extremely popular while you see your art be rarely looked at, it happened (and happens) to me a lot. I specially hate when the piece of art I took so long to do and so lovingly is overlooked while a piece that took me 20 mins but has bwebs gets a lot more views. But that's life and it's most interesting that way, because when you do get to popular I bet you are more satisfied since you know the effort it took, kinda like a game you know? After grinding you finally beat that boss that seemed really hard. But like a game, you need to put a lot from your part, like practicing a lot, going into groups and thumbsharing, commenting and all that stuff. you can also go to this group called getwatchers to get more views, though it does take a while to rack up credits. Just don't be discouraged by anything and just continue moving forward, and everything will go well!
